Vivienne Westwood Window Displays February

Another weekend means another trip to Westwood. I wanted to share the new Vivienne Westwood window displays with you. I do love a good window display.

The Conduit street store windows were created by Joe Rush featuring sculptures made from recycled metal and found objects. This collaboration combines their artistic and political talents to great effect in the name of Climate Revolution!

Mac Cosmetics Strength Collection & Candy Yum Yum Photos & Swatches

 Mac's new Strength collection contains five different shades all priced at £14.00 each

Strong Women - Bright Violet

This collection had sold out in my Mac store very quickly.  I managed to get three lipsticks from the collection Absoloute Power, Strong Women & Firm Form. I didn't mind too much as I was desperately after the darker shades. I did pick up vibrant Candy Yum Yum so I will review that with these three.

I love a dark purple lip colour and Heroine, a limted edition from Mac, was the greatest purple lipstick I have ever used, I hope they bring that back some day, but in the mean time I have Strong Women to experiment with..

Strong Women -  Is a dark purple with a matte finish. This is really creamy and glides on really easily.

Firm Form - Is a blackish-brown with a dusting of gold. My favourite new lip colour. Not as easy to apply as the rest of them, you'll definitely use a brush to apply this evenly.

Candy Yum Yum - Wow, a very vibrant bright neon pink matte finish, You definitely need to moisturise your lips well, as this will show up any dry chapped bits.

Absoloute Power - A pinky red colour with a matte finish. Easy to apply and great even coverage.

Overall I'm so glad I purchased these limted edtion lip colours. They are good strong matte colours and deliver good full colour coverage. Just a shame they are limted edition.

I must add Candy Yum Yum is back for good so you can get your fix of this vibrant pink anytime.

Devoted to Vivienne Westwood Squibble

Having fallen in love with the +Vivienne Westwood  squibble design which was introduced in the Pirates collection in 1981 by Westwood & McLaren, I just can't get enough of this pattern. Designs do not come much more iconic than this.

I managed to get a few gorgeous +Vivienne Westwood pieces in the last month I wanted to share with you 

The Gorgeous Gold Label Daisy Blouse, Autumn / Winter 2012 - 2013,  I love the design and the striking structural folds, I'm so excited about wearing this out soon.

A current book available from Vivienne Westwood which gives you great insight in to the iconic fashion designer

I borrowed this book from a friend and knew I had to get my own as I would never want to part with it. It has over 300 illustrations of Vivienne Westwood designs from early punk years to her more recent collections. A great read for any collector. I managed to get this on Ebay for £12.00 Bargain !

Vivienne Westwood I Love Crap Clutch Bag

Finally a knock on the door, and there stands my postman with that look on his face, yes another parcel for you Mr Valentino.

I saw this +Vivienne Westwood I love crap clutch bag and instantly fell in love with the design, I knew I had to have one.

This special collection of accessories supports The Ethical Fashion Programme, providing work to thousands of women who live in conditions of extreme poverty but have the desire to improve their lives from the benefit of earning an income. These beautiful pieces are handmade in Nairobi from recycled materials.

There are still a few pieces I would like from this collection, so I'll keep you posted.
